Seeking... love, happiness, wholeness,
wisdom... outside of ourselves is really an unconscious habit. It is an
unhealthy cycle of falsely and temporarily fulfilling our desires. We
think it's about finding perfection, but it is really about
remembering we are divine perfection. Total recall of ALL we are. When
we see the light of truth within, our needs and desires fall away; the
ecstasy of being can be appreciated for the joy of it. No seeking. No
desiring. No expecting. No fulfilling. What we long for is right here,
where we stand. And in this awareness our natural cycle of 'being->
loving-> creating-> becoming' can be effortlessly restored,
enjoyed and shared.

Your Higher Self #2

You are Divine.
Okay, that was the first thing your Higher Self wants you to know. Yet, even with that profound realization, the human being that you express yourself as right now may still be a little unsure of what that really means. After all, in the day-to-day challenges of living the human life, Divine is not quite they way we feel.
Most of us feel frustrated, unloved, depressed, stressed, confused, overwhelmed, fearful, angry, unhappy, even hopeless at one time or another. Where's our Divineness then?
Your Divine essence is always there, loving you and observing without judgment. It waits for you to hear its gentle call. It is a vibrational one and it is the sound of contentment, wellness, good-feeling, peace. Joy is the clear channel amongst all the static. In order to know Joy, you must tune in to your Divine Self.

#2: HELP YOU KNOW JOY
The Divine you has one goal in mind for you--that you experience JOY.
When we are distracted by the drama of the world, we loose sight of the presence of Joy. Like your Divine Self, it is not a destination but a state of being. To be You is to be Joyful.
When you are living from Joy your dreams are lived. Joy is the well-spring of peace and contentment. It's not a fireworks, balloons dropping, music blaring, screaming loud lottery winning experience; it is quiet yet immense in its subtlety.
To know Joy is to capture its essence in a moment. There is a difference between being joyful and being happy. Happiness is more of a singular expression where as Joyfulness is all-encompassing state of knowing. It represents unlimited potentiality.
We are given Free Will as an opportunity to discover our Divine Self. Not because we have to, but because we want to. It is God’s desire for all to CHOOSE Joy-filled lives.
Many might argue the point based on conditions around the world or even in their own lives. Why would they "choose" otherwise. However, humanity often misses the point by focusing on the lack or the unwanted. And that is their "choice" so that is often what they get; over and over again.

Joy begins with awareness that you are Divine. And then the real understanding opens up when you allow yourself to be You. It becomes more clear when you stop and take a step back from the drama of the outside world and give sacred time to your inner world.
As you deliberately move towards a life in Joy, you will discover that the journey need not be a painful one. Suffering is merely a path. You can learn from pleasure as well as pain. It is true that we often grow from grief, but there is as much challenge in Joy as in sorrow. Again, the choice is always yours.
To know Joy is to know Thyself.
From that perspective, life can be seen from Joy-filled eyes.

Who Are YOU?

Along my quest to know thyself, many teachers have come my way. By form of humans, animals, spirit guides, Angels, inspiration (my own), books, tapes, channelings, religious teachings, metaphysical sciences, quantum physics, nature, and infinite intelligence.
One key question: "Who Am I?", has often been anwswered with reference to as my "Higher Self."
So, what does that mean-- "Higher Self"?
Here is what I've got so far...
Your Higher Self is the most perfect form of "YOU" that exists in the universe.
It is the “I AM” of who you are.
It is your infinite being; the reflection of your God self.
It is pure positive energy.
It is supreme intelligence.
It is your connection to Source.
It is always guiding you on your journey through life.
Its guidance manifests itself in your life in many subtle ways: as a still small voice, as vivid images and pictures, as flashes of insight and feelings, as intuition and knowingness.
As you awaken to it and follow its loving guidance, you expand; raising your vibration higher, which also elevates the resonance of the plant and the universe, ultimately giving glory to God, our creator.
Gulp! Can't say much more than that right now.
More to follow...

Keep the CHANGE!
"If you want something to change, change something!"
If change is possible, why does it seem like one of those insurmountable obstacles? We dream our dreams. We imagine the possibilities of what could be. Yet, we stay in the same place, doing the same things, and wonder why change seems so impossible.
Is it fear? Is it complacency? Is it laziness? Or is it something more? What keeps us in a place of discomfort instead choosing something comfortable? Maybe it is because we get comfortable with the discomfort. The same old, same old feels more comfortable than the different new, different new. Change, even if it is what we want, feels strange. The numb sensation of the unknown can stop us in our tracks like a deer in headlights. We want to move; actually every part of our being is screaming MOVE! Only the body, and our life, stays in the same place, stiff and rigid.
In choosing 'no action', we suddenly realize that change is happening whether we do something about it or not. Most times, it is not the change we would have intended. Like the deer frozen in the road before being pummeled by the tractor trailer, life is moving at you fast so you need to be ready to move swiftly. It's about being flexible and being willing to 'take action'.
KEEP THE CHANGE... DUMP THE EXCUSES!
Today is the first day of the rest of your life! Do something different. Alter your course. Shift your mind. See a new perspective. Become transformed. Take a leap of faith!
Change something. Who knows? You might just save your life!
Keeping the light on,
Mags

No Time or Space
Imagine that you blink and suddenly you are in a different place. In your perspective, time has passed and you have aged, or have at least changed somehow. Perhaps, circumstances have taken place beyond your control and life transpired without your awareness to every detail.
That is where I am at. It may be that the winter months have brought me deep into the root, like a polar bear hibernating until spring. What does the bear dream during the many months as the cold plummets and the winds blow? Does he experience the warmth of the sun in some faraway galaxy? I can only imagine that he would choose the most delicious and joyous experience while he slumbers time away.
It is not that I am sleeping all day. On the contrary, I am a night owl and stay up late and then in the morning I awake by 7am. I do mediate sometime between 8:15 and 10:00 am. There is definitely a period in which I choose to drift to another reality. One that is sometimes void, with no recall. Other times, it is filled with color or even a dramatic storyline. The point is, sometimes it is necessary to slip away into the blissful world of no time and space. Just being. No agenda. Maybe it's for 10 minutes out of the "American" way of doing. Or you might allow the connection to the past or the future leave you for what seems like forever as you slip into a state of stillness that is unexplainable, but utterly refreshing. Being in the now!
In the world of time and space, my last blog was December 11, 2007. As my mind cleared from the lifting of a blinding fog that had swept over me, it is now February 14, 2008. It is the day for love. I am awaking from my transformational nap, if only for brief stint, on the day for love. It comes after the death of my sister, and the loss of several dear souls that brought joy to this earth. They, like me in my dreams, now live in no time or space. Or, as some call it, heaven.
And that, I am discovering, is where the power is. The ability to be free. Unlimited to the boundaries of this physical plain. Creating nothing but heavenly delights! Ahhh! But the wonderful secret is this: we can do it without leaving our human reality. It is coming to a time when millions around the globe are awakening to this truth; not from a winter escape, but from an unconscious cloud of darkness. We are reaching for the silver lining and suddenly it is there for us to grab hold of. It is not wishful thinking, but a fact that we are capable of making our dreams come true.
In reading The Field, by Lynne McTaggart, it is now becoming accepted from the scientific community (not that that determines a definative perspective) that we are finally discovering there is truly a source of infinite potential. It is not new, but ancient. Oh, we know it by many names. It should be more accurately described as "eternal ."
The truth is, we are, at every moment, creating our reality, all from a field of unlimited possibilities.
If you ever wondered if there is more, there is. And it is revealed to you when you consider life through a window of light.
Happy Valentine's Day!
